Putting First Responders First
We are committed to providing community emergency responders with the information, tools and training that they need to respond in the unlikely event of a pipeline emergency.
We provide emergency responders with the following:
- Location of the pipelines and who operates them
- Instruction on how to recognize a possible pipeline emergency and procedures for how to respond
- Knowledge and understanding of Consumers Gas Cooperative preparation/procedure for emergencies
Emergency Responder Education Program
Consumers Gas Cooperative’s Emergency Responder Education Program provides emergency responders and 9-1-1 call center personnel unlimited access to free, online training materials designed to help them to respond safely and effectively to any pipeline emergency.
